            Season of Giving

The holiday season is upon us and once again St.Adalbert's Church would like to Bless and collect for the men's homeless shelter Hammond City Rescue Mission. This shelter in downtown Hammond has been serving men, both young and old for years. Just like the rest of us, these men have been dealing with Covid along with other struggles life has thrown at them. Please help us Bless them by donating an item if you are able,or stopping by church and saying a prayer or signing a a Christmas card that we will be giving to the shelter to hand out to the men. The items we will be collecting for the men this year are:

winter coats,winter hats,gloves,socks,underwear,disposable masks,hand sanitizer,shampoo,conditioner,body wash toothpaste, toothbrushes,Kleenex,laundry soap,dryer sheets.
We will also be collecting  coffee  and  breakfast or granola bars,
something

wrapped that men can put in their pockets as they are outside of the shelter during the day.  Any monetary donations collected will be used to purchase Strack and Van Til gift cards for the men .

St. Adalbert's Church  will be open for prayer , card signing and collecting on Sunday, December 5th and Sunday, December 12th

from Noon to 4 p.m.  St. Adalbert's Church is located at the corner of 121st Street and Indianapolis Blvd.
