Hello Students and Families,
Today we hellp our first zoom class. I hope that through these classes that the students will start to understand more about their faith and start to understand what it means to be Catholic and why getting Confirmed is important. I have given the students two assignments for homework. The first is to discuss as a family what you and your family can help the univeral message of the church and how using the internet would help you. That assigment is due by 6pm on Saturday. The second assignment is to interview someone who has made their confirmation and ask them how they felt throughout the process. I also asked the students to think about things they love or like to do, so we can discuss and start to look up saints, so that way when they go to pick a saint next year for Confimation they will already have an idea.
Class starts everyday at 1pm and I will send out weekly emails with the link to that weeks zoom meeting. The meetings are recorded for those students who could not attend. My daughter Mariana Campos tried logging on Sunday for CCD class and she needed a code I got a code via text which was only good for 30 minutes at this point I need another code in order for her to get into virtual learning/class
I spoke to someone at St.John and was told to send a message asking for another code
Please let me know what I need to do on my behalf to get Mariana started on CCD class
