The Bible study is called Ordering Your Priorities through Walking with Purpose, a Catholic women’s ministry.
“Another glass of wine, just one more episode on Netflix, a little more scrolling on Instagram...women are numbing out at ever-increasing rates. Why? What is it about our lives that makes us feel so overwhelmed? What might change if we figured out how to build lives that we don’t want to escape?
Ordering Your Priorities: Building a Life Well Lived is an immensely practical Bible study that will help you put the most important things first. We’ll begin by paying attention to the One who made us, because He can best tell us what we need for our lives to run well.
Ordering Your Priorities is ideal if you...
● Are ready to discover not only what matters most in life but also how to prioritize those things.
● Long to feel satisfied at the end of the day, knowing that you’ve loved your family not just in your heart but also in your schedule.
● Want to create a life that you don’t need to escape.
A series of talks accompanies this eight-lesson Bible study.” If you are interested in joining the Bible study, please come to the Open House on Thursday, October 1 at 6:30pm.
There are a limited number of books available upon registration. Can’t attend the Open House? Please email Alivia Brooks at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
Meet Alivia Brooks, the Walking with Purpose Women’s Bible Study Facilitator
Alivia Brooks will be the facilitator for this new Women's Bible Study. Her powerful conversion to Catholicism has led her to want to help women come to understand that they are beloved daughters of God. She believes having a strong community of Christ-centered families can change the world. Alivia and her husband Jacob are the parents of three children, James, Alena, and John. She enjoys volunteering her time with the School City of Music department, taking her children to local nature events, and participating in and leading book clubs and Bible studies. One of her favorite quotes is from St. Catherine of Siena, who said, “Be who God meant you to be, and you will set the world on fire.” She is excited to bring Walking with Purpose to St. John the Baptist!
