I grew up in the region and attended St. Thomas More in Munster. Then, it was off to Bishop Noll where I discovered my love of history and English.
I graduated from Purdue University (Boiler up!) with a BA in History.
Although teaching had always been on the periphery of career path, I ended up working in banking for 20 years. After the birth my son, Paul, the thought of teaching became more and more alluring as time went on.
I am excited to share my love of history and writing/reading with my 5th graders. I look forward to seeing their knowledge develop and grow as we work together through the year. My goal is to help build their self-confidence as they continue on their journey at SJB.
